Welcome to Genesis 2010 - Celebrating 10 Years of Success! |
|
Genesis 2010, our tenth anniversary, builds on the success and feedback from the last decade. Our three part mission: to assist young emerging life science companies in meeting investors and technology partners; to showcase the best of London and the wider UK, and; to provide a stimulating forum for debate, led by high level keynote speakers. Networking amongst the expected 700+ delegates takes place both online pre–event and within the first class exhibition, featuring over 60 UK and international exhibitors. All this makes Genesis the business hub for the life science sector.
Key features of Genesis 2010 will include:
• Taking the event to a one-day format in response to participant feedback that a more intense single day was preferable for delegates, exhibitors and sponsors
• A high level plenary session followed by more targeted parallel streams
• The second gala awards dinner recognising success in technology transfer and company news flow through 2010
• Online pre- and post- event networking via Eventscope that saw over 16,000 exchanged emails in 2009

As a representative of the International Brain Tumour Alliance and a plenary speaker at the 2009 Genesis conference, I was delighted to be able to participate in this meeting. It provided a varied and fascinating view of the latest in cutting edge topics within the biotechnology world, as well as excellent networking opportunities amongst the delegates. I was also very pleased to present to the participants and share some of the challenges with them which are experienced by brain tumour patients and caregivers on their journeys. Kathy Oliver, Co-Director of the International Brain Tumor Alliance. |
